Lers mood for the week: Rare happiness. Attended a wedding lunch @ Rasa Sentosa on sat. It was my friend Shufen's wedding, i'm very honoured to be invite to the big rosy day of hers. Friendship is tiny yet fragile, a little motion counts. Shufen and i know each other from New Creation Church, and we gel up well due to the likeness of speaking in Mandarin, as our peers usually communicate in English with slang. We used to chat on phone and shared our problems, a friend like her is a blessing from god and also one of the reason which i believe why in the past i'm eagerly looking forward to the next service even before it ended. I'm wishing from the bottom of my heart, Happy Marriage, Shufen!!! I was back to my old house again after all this time, it takes me back to my faded memories, living among its silences and shadows. In an house like this i can feel all the time that had passed in it accumulating and settling in those shadows, enriching the silence and cosy sadness. The silence and sadness of lives and their limitations saturates the room of mine, where i would pass the time listening to my favourite music, or watch the cable before i put myself to bed. The weight of this house's memories are more real to me than its physical presence these days.
Lers movie of the week: Kung Fu Panda-This is not as funny as the trailer makes it out to be so dont say i didnt warn you. The movie fails to fully captivate and lacks any real ups and downs so viewers like me find ourselves leaving the cinema feeling something was missing----thrills, perhaps. I want awesome-ness!!! On the surface, everything looks fine and dandy, great animation,gd work on the voices by the star-studded cast. Watch it if you're in the mood for something fluffy and mindless.
Lers record of the week: Scarlett Johansson-Anywhere I Lay My Head: When Scarlett Johansson sang The Pretenders' Brass In Pocket in the Lost In Translation karaoke scene, there were undoubtedly many in the cinema who thought to themselves, 'Hey, her voice actually isn't half bad!' And after all, with that signature husky delivery of hers, its not too much of a leap to imagine that she might sound just fine on an album of her own. Unfortunately, as an untrained singer, the future Mrs Ryan Reynolds cant quite carry it off, or carry a tune. On this compilation of Tom Waits covers, she pays tribute to the gravel-voiced singer, who's been making records since the 70s, with less than stellar results. Fortunately, Scarlett has a lucrative and successful acting career that will serve as a worthwhile backup plan to her musical efforts. 
Lers seeing double: Both have got senses of the bad boy image. One is our beloved brokeback Heath Ledger, who was found died early this year and the other is actor from Mysterious Skin( 2005 ), Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Lers wanting colours: The Ritmo Mundo Divina is for people who are into having a big slice of summery colour to draw attention to the wrist. The Divina has an oversized round dial and is available with interchangeable rubber and leather straps. The dials are available in either a plain style or embellished with a thin line of diamonds.
